Not only the elders, adults but even children have become aware of the fact that India has cultivated a habit of committing gross human rights violation here and the only the question that haunts in our minds is when India is going to realize about the ground realities. No discussions about the nostalgia movement, we have our own schools and universities, why to go for boycott, but only to Lodge our protests in a logical and meaningful way.
Due to the blockade, clampdown all sections of the society have been badly hit including students, transporters and workers. Transporters have suffered the most, by not earning daily, the loan amount taken from the bank, to purchase the public transport and not been able to return the amount in time, as interest is working on their loan amount is very worrisome for them. On one side interest and loan amount is creeping up, and on other side, they are not been able to deposit the installment amount to the bank.
The state government has completely paralyzed the life of a common man and snapping of mobile phones and internet. Mostly all students get their study materials through Internet by consulting their friends and teachers through mobile phones, no house at this age of digital India, Modi has said, is without Internet connection and mobile facilities, but unfortunately both had been snapped, the gloomy face of education minister Nayeem Akhtar while giving interview to the media, requesting parents and separatists to send and allow schools to work, for the betterment and future of the students, simply depicts fake expression. The government itself has put the future of students at stake and in dark.
OK no doubt, government says it is only done for the safety of people because rumors cause escalating in tensions and fuel the agitation, government is a power in itself, clamp strict curfew in the areas, and localities not allow even a dog to walk on the roads, by taking such irrelevant decisions that creates problem to a common man and especially to the students. The ground reality is, how two way diplomacy is played with the people of Jammu and Kashmir by not allowing to heal their wounds. The two months of curfew is unprecedented.
As I was traveling to my destination, I had to get down from my two wheeler, near ATM, to withdraw the amount, a student was also in a que, waiting for his turn, just the way I asked him, how is studies going, he said, when there is the national revolt going on in India, the students community of that generation had to sacrifice their studies, same is the case here. We are ready to sacrifice our studies for our future generations so that they don’t have to face these unwanted situations and could read, write and study peacefully and in the air of freedom, without getting chocked. It shocked me to hear from the school going boy this logical answer. Children who remained busy by going for tuition for different subjects, they even have understood and feel they are having a now or never situation, to win the battle of agitation.
There is not even a single ray of hope for this government, it can collapse anytime in one go, because it is heard the rift and trifle has cropped up internally, many more leaders want to resign but are not able to for the purpose of their egotism and how they will show their shameful face to public. The pivotal ground realities must be accepted if government wants to remain in power for next three years.
