Srinagar, Apr 17: The government Saturday postponed examinations of 11th standard in Jammu division following the surge in COVID-19 cases in the region.
Office of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor on micro blogging site Twitter said, “In view of COVID-19, a Class-11 exam has been postponed.”
The government earlier this week has already cancelled the examination of 10th standard in Jammu division and decided to promote the students to 11th standard as per the student’s performance of those subjects of which exams were conducted.
Meanwhile, authorities further had ordered closure of all private coaching institutes, and the State Disaster Management extended the date for closure of schools till April-30.
On Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education (BOTE) also postponed all examinations till further orders
